Jeníková was not ready for such a thing and all the time she hoped that director Karel Kachyna would change his mind and not demand that she strip completely naked in front of the camera. But the director didn't want to change his mind and even Veronika's mother's intercession didn't help. The budding actress then wondered how she could avoid the tricky scene. She even feigned illness. In the end, the director only agreed to shoot the nude footage at the very end of the shoot.
