Gehrayee Year: 1980 Padmini Kolhapure had courted a controversy when her film Gehrayee was released. A film on exorcism that revolved around a young girl possessed by a spirit, there was a nude backless shot that featured Padmini with a tantric played by Amrish Puri. Director Aruna Raje (one half of the erstwhile Aruna-Vikas team that made Gehrayee) remembers that they first got an okay from her parents since Padmini was still a minor. Aruna-Vikas then explained the scene in explicit detail to her before she came on board. “I put a long orangish shawl on her that completely covered her front. We thought that even if some part of it was seen, it would pass off as a reflection of the fire in front of her. “Luckily, Padmini had long hair which covered much of her bare back and only just before the shoot, I pulled down her panty. For example, during the bathing scene that Kinski is preparing for the girl: she was already very anxious about shooting a nude scene, even shot in a very modest way.I had reduced the technical team to and set the stage so that Kinski turned her back (as well as the camera), as she was about to enter the bathtub, and then he had a fit: "What ?! Milka - elokuva tabuista Year: 1980 Tabu was adapted into screen by Mollberg under the title Milka (1980). The film was praised for its photography and poetry. Again Mollberg used amateurs. The 17-year-old school girl Irma Huntus had several naked scenes, which later confused her life in the small village where she returned after the filming was over. Helena Ylänen wrote in the newspaper Helsingin Sanomat , that Mollberg had "unleashed his fascination with the white naked human flesh. He makes a number of excuses to undress people, in particular the undeveloped girl's body of Milka." Die Blechtrommel Year: 1979 The thing that previously got the film banned in Ontario and Oklahoma involved the actor David Bennent, who was eleven at the time and who has some controversial scenes in which he appears to have oral sex and intercourse with Katharina Thalbach. But director Volker Schlöndorff affirmed that throughout the making of these scenes, Ms. Thalbach's entire pubic area and genitals and buttocks were completely covered at all times with a fully opaque cloth material called Duvetyne. During the shooting of Krigernes børn, one morning two girls were on the edge of the cry. A group of children actors have gathered to talk about what should turn out to be a bomb during production. Sounds like business as usual, a tragic event that happens all too often and goes into oblivion to other than the relatives. But two and a half months later, the suicide suddenly drew headlines in the morning newspapers. Anne - as the girl was named - had a minor role as the farmer's daughter Marie in the "Krigernes børn" movie, who received a Danish cinema premiere in August 1979 and was shown at the prestigious Berlinale in February 1980. La luna Year: 1979 Interview with Matthew Barry. I was still a virgin at the time, and I lost my virginity on the film on my 16th birthday. Uh... So I was getting a very, very fast education into sexuality. And my mom was there [on set] with me. My dad was there the first month and then my mom came in. And my mom was very, very open and we had a lot of discussions about it. And it was a quick education. It was a different time. So, it was a little more understandable, so to speak, back then where everybody was kind of coming off the 60s, where it was free love and everything else. And so it kind of, it was the tail end of the 70s. So, it was, again, it was kind of understood. And again, Europeans- Americans are very tight when it comes to sexuality. Europeans are incredibly open. If any of you have ever spent time in Europe, it's very free. It's not as emotional as we are in America. It's very kind of, "Hey, let's get together and let's have sex." And America was like, "Oh no, we can't do that." But there in Europe it was very, "Hey, let's just have a good time." And I think that's- If you look at the films from that era, it sparks to it. Whereas in America we were still kind of very, very conservative, so to speak, compared to the rest of the world- Or most of the world.
