In the first skinny dipping scene the two main boys are seen nude briefly from a distance from the rear.

In the second skinny-dipping scene, one of the boys is seen nude from the rear again but this time much closer and for a longer period of time. During the second skinny-dipping scene there is a flash back to when Shadrach was about ten years old and skinny-dipping in the same pond. The young Shadrach is seen from the front.
