It was a movie that had teams from all over the world. They were actors, dancers, not true Indians. Actors and dancers. And then there was something very amazing, that that was giving me, so I don't know, I was giving myself importance. I got stuck, in the right sense of the word. I found out I was beautiful. I was a virgin, I was a girl without contact with sexuality and I stayed that way throughout the movie, with my mother next door, being an observer very close to everything. But my mother was never a very repressive person, you know, nor my father. So much so that there is one very cool thing that when I got the news that I was going to play the lead role in the movie, my dad, the whole family together, I remember he said, “the only thing I worry about "Can you get along with your high school classmates after this movie opens?" You know, I said, "I never thought about that." And I told him yes. And he said, "You can do it for me." I said dad: "I'll be naked". And he said, "If you say you can do it." For a man who was ... I found it so far ahead of his time, everyone talked about a lot of issues, and his was just that: if I could live after the movie with that reality.
